Thanks and yes with more time a deeper look would be good. In the coming weeks and months it will be interesting to see what analyses of this event show such as how well the forecasts performed and how it differed from the more usual type of event at these latitudes – I say a little about the more usual situation in that earlier post. Also, whether we might see dramatic events more frequently in the next couple of years around the peak of the current solar cycle - let's hope so!
