Yes, I agree with that - it was an unusually well defined Haar and had already come inland to the west so there was a good chance it would keep moving. Some forecasts suggested it would form again the following day but it didn't quite get going, although there were briefly tendrils of mist around one of the Forth bridges.

Given the random way the haar was rolling in and out at Eyemouth two weeks ago I think it must be near impossible to predict in detail.
